35 down - 35 to go!!

Today is my 35/35 day. I'm 35 weeks pregnant, and have 35 days left!! It's hard to believe that in a month I could be holding my little girl in my arms!! We're getting most everything together. I think we have everything that we'll need at the very beginning, but I'm sure she'll surprise us! The nursery is set up, the clothes are washed, and my hospital bag is packed. Yea, I'm an overachiever!! There are still some things I'd like to do, like put more wall decorations up, but I don't really know what yet. We got the blinds up since I took pictures and now I just need to make the curtains.

The only 2 things I have left on my to make list are curtains and the quilt. All my quilt squares are done, I just have to arrange them, trim them, and sew them together. It doesn't sound too hard, I'm just so not motivated to be kneeling on the ground doing that!! I've got the pieces cut out for the curtains, I just have to sew and iron and sew some more. Again, not too hard, just no motivation!!

I'm definitely feeling this late pregnancy exhaustion! Yesterday I did NOTHING. I laid in bed reading for hours, went to Target, visited a friend, picked up my groceries (that I had ordered online the night before), and was utterly exhausted!! I didn't even want to eat dinner! I think my accomplishments for yesterday were reading hundreds of pages and beating a few levels of Angry Birds. Hahaha! I think Carl was a little worried that I was soooo tired (especially b/c I hadn't done much the day before either!), but I told him he really shouldn't worry too much until I'm running around cleaning everything, baking, and whatnot like a crazy person!

I'm generally feeling pretty good. Last night was hard to sleep. I am a dedicated belly sleeper, and I slept on my belly until about a month ago, and it has been HARD not to!! Last night I managed to get the pillows and blankets piled up so I could at least pretend I was on my stomach, but Baby Girl didn't put up with that for too long. Then when I rolled onto my side, my hip hurt. It's so weird, hurting while I'm lying in bed, but not when I'm up. Oh well. I've surprised my chiropractor. I'm still only getting adjusted every 2 weeks, and doing pretty well in between. Last week, we decided that even if I feel okay, I'll start getting adjusted every week starting next week. I'm hoping keeping my back happy will make having this baby that much easier!! But I've been lucky. No more horrible leg cramps (knock on wood), and as long as I listen to my body (ie. No walking super fast at work anymore) I tend not to hurt too much.

But I'm still ready for Baby Girl to make her appearance!! I know that every day, every week she stays in there the better for her, but I can be a little selfish, right?
