We are having a blast at the beach! It has been VERY mild this week. It cooled down Thursday night, but has warmed up to mid-high 60s during the day. When we got here on Thursday afternoon, it was close to 80 degrees, so we jumped in the pool! Evelyn loved it!
We have been taking it easy, just relaxing and doing bit of shopping and sight seeing. This morning, we went down to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and walked around for a while. This was Evelyn's first time at the ocean. I wasn't sure how she would react because the water was so cold, but she loved it! She even liked the wet sand squishing between her toes!!
After walking on the beach for a while, we rode a huge ferris wheel over Myrtle Beach. Evelyn was just staring out the window the whole time. She loved it! She has just been going along with everything we do this weekend!
Unfortunately, that second tooth is really bothering Evelyn this weekend. She's had her fussy moments, and her not wanting to go to sleep, but they've been pretty fleeting. Either that or I have daddy & Grandma Ann to share the wealth with! :) But really, she's been very happy most of the time!
We're having a great time, and I know I'll be sad to go home tomorrow, but it will be nice to get back to our routine too!
