We have had an extremely busy past month or so! I feel like we've been gone more than we've been home (actually I think that's true!). I'll try to keep the "talking" to a minimum and just show off pictures!
The first weekend in May, we went to Greenville for Carl's graduation from grad school. He's now the proud recipient of a Master's Degree in Technology Systems. (I think - there are so many different terminologies and they all mean about the same thing! ;)

The next day we headed to Myrtle Beach for a long weekend with my aunt & uncle and their kids.
| Carl & Evelyn at the aquarium |
| Watching the fish |
| She loved all the fish! |
| Right on top of us! |
| Ice Cream on the pier |
| Checking out the ocean with Dad |
| Not so sure about those waves |
| She definitely preferred being carried in the water! |
| Playing in the sand was much more fun than avoiding waves |
| Messy Spaghetti Face! |
| Running around with Ethan and Emily - Evelyn thinks she's a big kid! |
| Hugs for Emily |

We got home from the beach on Tuesday night, then on Sunday we hit the road for a drive to Florida to board the Disney Magic for a 5 day cruise to the Bahamas!

| Dancing on tables already! |
| Watching the port go by as we head for the ocean! |
| It is impossible to take a family self-portrait with a 1 year old! |
| Meeting Belle on the first night of the cruise! |
| Fussy girl fell asleep on the way to the beach for the day! |
| Hey look, we found Goofy! |
| Enjoying an ice cream cone on the ship |
| Dad's girl checking out the air intakes |
| Pirate Night napkin hats - I'm a queen and Carl's Dumbo. Evelyn's pirate hat lasted exactly 2.3 seconds! |
| Beautiful Sunset. It was overcast the entire trip, so no pretty sun against the water sunsets, but this was the best one of the week! |
| Meeting Chip & Dale on Castaway Cay. Evelyn actually really enjoyed them despite the stink face in this picture! |
| SOOOO excited to see Minnie Mouse! |
| Again, she loved Minnie, hated "Smile for the camera!" |
| Splash ground on Castaway Cay |
| Loved the splash ground! |
| Our ship docked at Castaway Cay |
| Trying to get a family picture with the ship, but my head got in the way! |
| Couldn't wait to see Mickey! |
| Family with Pirate Mickey |
| Playing with her friend Owen on the splash ground |
| Last night of the cruise - Family portrait with Minnie & Mickey. Amazing how Evelyn has a stink face in this one, but the picture Disney took is great. Luckily I splurged for that one and its on our living room wall. :) |
We managed to stay home for almost 2 whole weeks before Evelyn and I (and Grandma Ann!) hopped on a plane to head to Ontario for a week!
| Evelyn wasn't so sure about Great Grandpa, until he started playing his mouth organ! |
| Crackers and blocks - Great Grandma knows the way to Evelyn's heart! |
| Letting Grandpa play with her baby |
| Still not too sure about this guy, but I like his music! |
| Just watching Grandpa! |
| Helping Grandma sweep |
| Evelyn with Great Grandpa & Great Grandma Phillippi |
| 4 Generations! |
| Bedtime with Emily |
| They had a donkey at the park! |
| And the ducks really liked Evelyn, even without food! |
| Pretty Peacock |
| Beautiful farmland - I could drive around looking at this all day! |
| Wide Open Spaces! |
; |
| Ethan wanted to be sure we got pictures before we left! |
| Maybe we should have turned off the TV! |
Overall, we had a great time on all of our trips. We enjoyed spending time with family, and also just spending time away with our little family. But I am very glad to be home for a while! :)
