The Lindahls: Happy Birthday Avery!!

Today is Avery's first birthday! He is growing up so fast and I'm having a hard time believing he's already a year old!!

He is this >< close to walking. He'll let go hesitantly and take a few steps, but then he plops down. SOON!! I'm so ready to see him walk!

He is starting to talk a bit more. He says "mamama...", "bananana....", and "Do-der" (Dozer). He can make a really pitiful cat sound, and when you ask him what sound a digger or bulldozer makes, he goes "Durrrrrrrrr" Haha!

He loves his puppy. He keeps it with him almost all the time. He shoves it as far into his mouth as he can before he falls asleep. It's very cute.

Avery loves to play outside. He will play at the sandbox for hours and loves to play with his cars.

Evelyn and Avery play so well together. They will sit next to each other and just play and play and play. Every once in a while one takes something the other plays with, but it doesn't last long. Evelyn typically naps longer than Avery, and he misses her so much. He will crawl up to her door and knock until she wakes up.

He is such a sweet boy. He loves to give hugs and kisses. His kisses get a little sharp sometimes :) but it's sweet!

He is getting so big! He's 23 1/2 pounds and 30 1/4 inches tall. He loves to eat (obviously!) and isn't picky yet. He loves bananas and puffs.

I am so thankful for the last year with my sweet boy. It has been rough, and there were times I didn't know how I was going to make it through, but I wouldn't change my perfect little family for a thing!
