25 weeks has been good to me so far! I've had a fun week, and we got lots of stuff done! But I can't believe I have less than 15 weeks before this baby is due!!!!
I went down to Charlotte for the day earlier this week. I had lunch with my brother and got to catch up with him. And then my old roommate, Jaime, and I wandered around IKEA and then Concord Mills for the afternoon. I have to say, after driving 5-6 hours and shopping all day, I was TIRED when I got home!! Jaime and I had fun though. It was my first IKEA trip, and it is HUGE!! Luckily there weren't too many people there, and we didn't have to stop and look at everything so it didn't take us too long!
Yesterday, Carl and I went out to the Raleigh Christmas Parade. It was a beautiful morning, I actually got hot wearing a sweater!! The parade got me in the Christmas spirit, I want to decorate the house now!!
We've been getting lots done on the baby's room. Carl's parents have been painting, and just have a little bit of touching up to do. Our furniture came in - 6 weeks before schedule!! Woo hoo!! The only downside is since the painting isn't done, the furniture is sitting boxed up in the garage for now. Oh well! I've been working on some of the crib bedding (very slowly), so maybe by the time I'm done with that we can put everything up! I ordered a neat looking tree decal to go on the wall behind the crib. Now we've just got to be on the lookout for an awesome dresser and rug. I'm sure once we find those things I'll need something else!!
My chair came in a chair-shaped box! ;)
The room does not seem this LIME green in person, it's a bit darker!
I've been feeling great (as long as I get a good night sleep and remember to take my pepcid!), and Baby Girl just keeps getting bigger!! I swear she grew one day when I was at work. I did not look that big earlier in the day!! Haha! She's still going in spurts with activity, with her being the most active when I'm going to bed!
