The big story this week is how much baby girl is squirming and kicking all over the place! I've been feeling slight movements for at least the last month, but this week it has been CRAZY! All day, every day, mommy is getting BEAT UP! It's alright though for now, because it doesn't hurt at all and it makes me laugh. :)
Friday night was the first time Carl was able to feel her kick. She seems to be pretty active when I'm not, or maybe that's just when I notice her the most. She's kicking away for a good 15-30 minutes every night after I lay down. Carl can't believe how much she kicks me then. He says he doesn't know if he could stand it, but it's the neatest thing I've ever felt, like little bubbles in my belly! I'm sure in a few weeks I'll be complaining about getting jabbed in the ribs, so I'm enjoying it now!
Everything else is going well for now! We've got our nursery furniture ordered, and the paint picked out. We might start painting this weekend. I've got my fabric ready, I just need to get started sewing! I'm in no rush, but I know with working every other weekend, the holidays will sneak up even quicker than usual, and I won't want to be dealing with Christmas stuff and nursery stuff at the same time. We'll see how this getting it done early goes though!
