I'm 39 weeks pregnant today! That means Baby Girl could come any day now! Granted, I've been saying that for weeks, but I mean really, she can't stay in there forever! She has to come out some time! Of course, I'd prefer sooner than later, but I'm preparing myself for the later side of that. I've been working on the old wives tales without much luck. Apparantly pineapple is supposed to jump start labor. All it did for me was make my lips bleed! Haha. And I'm sure the neighbors are wondering why I'm out walking so much!
Things went alright at my doctor's appointment. Baby Girl is doing great, & I still haven't progressed in 4 weeks so she's nice and cozy in there! I'm out of work from here on out. Everything's fine, I just need to take it a little easier, and that doesn't happen at work so much!
I don't feel like I'm getting much bigger, but I can definitely tell that Baby Girl is - she's running out of room! Some of her movements just plain hurt, and it's almost like she's trying to maneuver herself into a specific spot that's too small for her!
I've got a few more projects to work on, but all can be done after she gets here if I'm motivated enough! I was quilting a quilt for one of mom's friends that I finished up earlier this week. I like how it turned out well enough! And then I finished Baby Girl's quilt top. I ordered backing fabric for it, so hopefully I'll be able to quilt it in the next week or so. Curtains are still a no-go. I'm staring at the fabric now, I just haven't been motivated to get to it. The sad thing is it's so easy! I know once I get started, they'll be done in no time!
Anyways - I'd be delighted if my next update is her birth announcement, but somehow, I doubt it. :) Keep your fingers crossed for me!
