Evelyn has had a busy April so far! We celebrated Easter, we've played and played and played, and Evelyn is the owner of 6 brand new teeth! ;)

Evelyn checking out her Easter Basket
Evelyn woke up on Easter Sunday and went straight for her Easter Basket. I wasn't sure how she would do looking for eggs and stuff, but she did great! I had "hid" a few eggs in plain sight, and put the rest in places she usually looks to play (in her play kitchen, in cabinets and boxes she opens ALL the time). She found a few eggs before church and was saying "Egg! Egg!" all morning!

Mommy & Evelyn on Easter
Evelyn fell asleep on the way home after Church as slept for a couple hours, so we didn't get a nice family picture, but we tried to get a couple. Evelyn did not like being plopped in the grass in her dress, so this is as good as it gets! :)

Eggs!
After lunch, she went right back to looking for eggs! We filled them with goldfish, teddy grahams & mini marshmallows since she's a little young for candy. She loved them! It took her a few days to find them all (I hid almost 50!) and it was alot of fun!

Daddy helping with eggs!
Other than that we've been laying low. Since the first of April, when I posted that she got 2 teeth in one day, she has a total of 6 new teeth, bringing the total to NINE! Her top first molars are poking through, and I can feel the bottom ones starting to push. We had a rough couple of weeks at the first of the month. Evelyn was waking up every 3-4 hours during the night and was miserable during the day. Luckily after the second top molar poked through, we had some relief. Now she's starting to get fussy during the day and chewing on everything (for some reason she ALWAYS goes for my toes!) and biting (yuck!) so I know those bottom molars are starting to bug her. Poor girl! Luckily, according to everything I've read, we should have at least a couple months relief before her canines and second molars start coming in!

Playing in the sand at the park
Since Evelyn is running around alot more, she loves playing at the park. She loves to climb on things and get as high as she can. She liked playing in the sand after she realized it was better to play with than eat!
In the next few weeks we've got alot going on. We're going to be on the go a ton! Carl graduates with his Masters the beginning of May, so we'll make a day trip to Greenville to see him walk. Then we're spending a few days with my aunt & uncle & cousins in Myrtle Beach. After a few days at home, we're driving down to Florida to go on a Disney Cruise. I am so excited, I can't wait! A couple weeks after that, Evelyn and I are going with my mom up to Ontario for a few days. We're going to be very busy, but I'm glad to be on the go!
