41 weeks. This girl definitely has some "Mason" in her! She is in no hurry, she's just going to take her time coming on out! Lucky for her, she's about to get evicted! Haha - maybe that will scare her out!
I really can't complain about the last week. Yea, I'm ready to hold her, but I haven't felt too bad and I've been sleeping alright. Yesterday was a little rough, and today's starting out a little worse, but if anything, the threat of induction is working! Ha! I've gotten so much done the last week, but I really don't think I've over done it. Everyday I've done some combination of cleaning, sewing, laundry, walking, reading & napping. It's been nice to be able to get stuff done without completely exhausting myself. I've even finished my "Must Get Done" list, and have moved on to the "If I have time" lists... haha!
I've finished all the sewing for Baby Girl's room. After last week, I only had a couple pillows left, but I was stalling on those. I finally got them done yesterday. I started on a new purse, which I hope to finish today. And I have a mini-quilt kit I bought last year that I might do today too. I have fabric for a new quilt for our bed that I thought about starting, but I decided I'll probably be more comfortable on the floor cutting out hundreds of tiny squares without this big belly in the way!!
Carl's been busying himself with a few projects here and there. His pickup truck is running now. Not well, but it's drivable! He's got to fix some electrical and suspension components, then it will be "safe" in my eyes and he can drive it home. It's been at my grandparents since the summer since they have more space. I'm ready for him to get it back here so he can work on it here & there, instead of a 6 hour all-day thing at my grandparents!
Baby Girl's been fine. She it totally out of space! It really hurts when she starts moving sometimes. She's freaked Carl out a few times with some of her big movements. He's taken to calling her "ET". :) I've been having a few contractions here and there. They're different today than they have been, which is giving me some hope we won't have to induce! But still nothing too exciting.
I've been really happy that we haven't had to do anything "extra" during this pregnancy. I took my vitamins and aspirin until I just got tired of doing it (at like 36 weeks, so I did take them most of my pregnancy!), and we got a couple extra ultrasounds at the beginning, but I really can't complain about this pregnancy! Physically, I've been near perfect. I've gained very little weight, my blood pressure has been amazing aside from a couple explainable weeks, Baby Girl has measured perfectly the whole time, and everything's been so smooth. I haven't had to have any extra tests or labs. Emotionally is a different story, but I think that's to be expected to some degree! Carl still isn't sure he wants to see me go through this again, but time will tell! ;)
Hopefully my next update will be announcing Baby Girl's arrival!! So exciting!!!!

I can't believe how patient you have been! At around 37 weeks I start whining and complaining CONSTANTLY and am a total pain to be around :) Jaina was 8 days late, no induction needed. I would have been induced 2 days later if she hadn't decided on her own that she was ready :) I hope these irregular contractions you are having are working to dilate you and that all will progress naturally for you. Good luck!
