My due date is one month from today. No pressure, right? I have been stressing this weekend. Stressing that the baby's going to come early, stressing that the nursery won't be finished, stressing that I won't get sewing projects finished. But I just have to let it go. If nothing else, stressing will only get him here sooner which means I won't get anything finished! Haha!
I think it's so funny, looking back on my blog posts from when I was at this point with Evelyn, I was all wanting her to come early(ish) and I was so prepared. This time, I feel like nothing's done, and I wouldn't mind being a week late so I can finish it all. That just means he's going to be an early bird. :) Just an example of how little we've done - here is Evelyn's nursery when I was 35 weeks.
And here is little man's nursery at almost 36 weeks:
Oops... we're getting there though! I decided the priorities this week should be washing baby clothes and packing bags for the hospital and for Evelyn. I've got 2 big projects for friends that I should be able to finish up this week, so that will be nice. And then after that, just a few more projects for baby boy. I would like to make some big sister/little brother t shirts for the kids, but we'll see how that works out. :) And then there's that whole paint the baby room (after we finish emptying it out!!), set up the nursery thing. We shall see!
In the meantime, I'm trying not to stress (good luck...), trying to keep Evelyn occupied, and trying not to fall over from exhaustion.
